Made slowly. Worn intentionally.
Farfalla Fiber Co was born from a lifelong relationship with fiber, craft, and care.
I learned to crochet at six years old, sitting beside my maternal grandmother—my nana—who first showed me how yarn could become something meaningful. A few years later, I learned to knit through my father’s side of the family, guided by my Aunt Melanie. By the time I was twelve, fiber had already become a language I spoke fluently.
For more than twenty-five years, I’ve been a fiber artist, drawn especially to creating wearable pieces for the people I love. One of my earliest memories is making a beret for my little cousin—started and finished entirely during a single car ride to her house. Without access to patterns or online resources, much of what I created was discovered through intuition, experimentation, and repetition.
In 2015, encouraged by family and friends, I launched my first crochet business. It began at local markets, where I discovered not only a love for fiber arts, but the quiet joy of sharing handmade work with others. That original brand was called EB Crochet—a name formed from my initials, written in cursive to resemble the shape of a butterfly. Even then, transformation and beauty were part of the story.
Although my love for fiber never faded, I stepped away from my business for nearly a decade to pursue other paths. When I returned, I did so with greater intention and a clearer sense of identity.
“Beauty reborn: a return to craft, transformed by time, experience, and renewed purpose.”
The name Farfalla—Italian for butterfly—honors both my Italian heritage and the evolution of this work. It represents beauty reborn: a return to craft, transformed by time, experience, and renewed purpose.
Today, Farfalla Fiber Co creates timeless wearable art rooted in slow fashion, sustainability, and soft luxury—pieces designed to be worn often, cherished deeply, and kept for years.
